Indian Beer Factory is one of India’s best craft beer brands, offering an authentic taste that only comes with an honest brewing process. Aiming to drive people’s passion for elevated beers and bringing the IBF craft beer straight to the lounging tables of Indian households, we set out to establish the brand’s visual identity, theme development and brand guidelines with full force.
With a mission to revolutionise the beer industry, we took a strategic approach to capture the brand’s essence. We created a unique visual language for IBF that genuinely captures their brand story.
Inspired by IBF’s precept of offering the best craft beer experience, the branding design system is fresh and quirky to mark a unique visual impression of the brand in people’s minds.We created a bright and crisp colour palette using a combination of navy blue and white as the primary colours to depict the brand values of originality and honesty in their products. The brand logo is minimalist with a sans serif font.
To create an easy recall in a world of patterns, we decided to go for unique imagery and fresh colours for the brand theme.The brand’s visual language combines the brand theme, a minimal brand logo and colourful patterned imagery to create a striking visual impact on their target customers.This unique design system is carried seamlessly across other brand assets such as brand packaging, brand label, bag designs, marketing collaterals, stationery suites and other brand content.
In September 2020, we worked with the Indian Beer Factory to create its brand identity. Since the brand caters to Millenials and Gen Z, the visual assets and graphic details depict a youthful persona to create a consistent brand experience. The full stack transformation of the brand has successfully given a unique shape to their visual language to build a more powerful brand identity with a rebellious and unapologetic spirit.
