Brand Overview

VILLA 259 is a 150-year-old heritage villa situated in the posh area of Assagaon, Goa. It is a perfect weekend getaway that homes a peaceful secluded space with a retro yet modern edge offering a high-end bar and restaurant experience. The brand’s essence is wrapped around crafting the finest resident and resto-bar experience within its luxurious ambient space.

 

We started working with the brand to incarnate the spirit of modern housing with a grand cocktail bar-style concept. For the branding system of Villa 259, we took a creative and contemporary approach that fits in with the modern-day traveller mindset.

Our Approach

It’s the little things that leave the most significant impact on our personal experience with a brand. With Villa 259, we took the same philosophy and strategically placed the most captivating brand elements across the brand identity. Analysing consumer trends and audience expectations, we defined the brand’s visual impact and depicted a more personalized, holistic brand experience. We went bold and artistic with the colour palette to reflect a moody vibe that gives the Villa 259 space its elemental edge. Using a combination of black and white as the core colours, we depicted the brand’s creative and honest approach to deliver quality in their restro-bar experience.

The brand logo is sharp and straightforward, with straight horizontal and vertical lines strategically placed to represent the grand entrance into Villa 259 and a minimal font. We crafted a monochromatic colour scheme for the brand and coupled it with striking imagery to reflect its tone, style, and visual character that screams homely cosiness.

Villa 259’s dramatic brand theme, the sharp brand logo and striking imagery form a strong brand identity. This unique design system is carried seamlessly across other brand assets such as space branding, packaging, brand labels, brand stationery and other brand content.

The Result

Working with Villa 259, we set the tone for an inclusive and appealing visual brand image making thoughtful design decisions that reflect the brand’s purpose, vision and values. Inspired by the brand’s edgy character, we designed its visual identity with a contemporary mix of artistic yet modern elements that resonate with the brand’s youthful target demographic. This successfully transformed the visual footprint of Villa 259 as the perfect contemporary getaway with an in-house bar Tap Room servicing the most flavourful craft beer brewed by the Indian Beer Factory.
